As a creative reuse shop in Indianapolis, we run entirely on donations. If you have craft supplies that are going unused, we’d love to help you find them a new home!
small donations
We accept small donations (up to one standard grocery bag full) any time we’re open. Limit one bag per person per day.
If you have items listed below you aren’t using, drop a bag by our Indianapolis shop any time we’re open.
Large donations
If you have a larger donation, get in touch! DM us on Facebook or Instagram, or email us at hello@goodjobcreativereuse.com to set up a time to donate.

But we can’t accept everything!
We’ll have to politely decline:
- Construction equipment and large tools (we’ve only got 200 square feet, sorry!)
- Lumber (try Indy Habitat for Humanity instead!)
- Unclean items
- Spray paint
- House paint
- Clothing (consider taking these to The Julian Center instead)
- Furniture
- Anything broken or needing substantial repair
- Scraps too small to use for quilting
- Junk: dried out pens or markers, old bedsheets, holey clothes, toilet paper tubes… (yes, we have received all of these things as donations before)
What happens to donated items we can’t accept?
Great question! We try to keep as much in circulation as possible. Smaller items (home decor, spray paint and interior/exterior paint, items in need of repair) go into our free bin: a box of free items that sits outside the shop any time we’re open. Other items, we’ll donate elsewhere (like to Goodwill or local orgs that could use the items).
We’re not a waste-free facility, though. We do throw away or recycle things if we can’t find someone who could use them…but we try to keep that to a bare minimum!
If you aren’t sure whether we’ll accept something, or want to schedule a time to drop off a larger donation, shoot us an email: hello@goodjobcreativereuse.com.

p.S….
Have some craft supplies you aren’t ready to donate, but don’t use much? Sign up for one of our classes!
