Our shop is located in a historic building with limited accessibility features, and the space is quite small, which can present challenges for anyone using a mobility aid. We also do not require masking by our staff or customers, and recognize this can make our space inaccessible to immunocompromised folks.

To make shopping with us as accessible as possible, we are happy to offer these options (or brainstorm other ideas if these don’t fit your needs!) Just email elise@goodjobcreativereuse.com if you’d like to set up an accessible shopping time.

Private shopping time (for mobility support)

If you use a mobility aid that would make it difficult to navigate our store during normal business hours, we can schedule private shopping time for you. During your appointment, we can:

• Provide a chair
• Move furniture around to support navigation
• Assist with accessing hard-to-reach items
• Anything else you might need

Note that there is a small step leading into the shop. This makes the space nearly impossible for non-ambulatory wheelchair users to enter.

Private shopping time (with masks)

If you are immunocompromised and cannot (or prefer not to) enter spaces with unmasked people, we can offer private shopping time. We will remain fully masked during your visit, and can also leave the door open and a fan running for ventilation. If you have any other needs (e.g., confirming vaccination status of staff – we <3 vaccines!) just let us know.

Virtual shopping with delivery or car-side pickup

We offer two versions of virtual shopping:

• A zoom/google meet call where you can virtually tour the shop; you’ll have a dedicated team member to show you around, help you find what you’re looking for, and pay online.
• DM exchanges: tell us what you want, we’ll send photos and pricing for everything that fits your criteria

Depending on your location, we can either deliver your order directly to you or load it into your car.
